"The Pimp Van" Build - New Batt's/Subs Pics Pg. 5

Recommended Posts

They are Sundown Ninja edition 10's!

Jk, haha, they are Stereo Integrity BM 10's. All the soft parts were redesigned and reconed by Sundown. Plus I asked Jacob to put the sundown logos on the cones just for sexiness factor. So they are SI/Sundown woofers :D

Nice 500's, for bats, that is power plant right there

I used to own D3100's and I thought those were huge, these things are even bigger and heavier. I wonder what the actual AH rating is on these, anybody know?

Thanks guys!

looks like fun fa sho

it's gettin' to be fun already, an I haven't even started building ;)

http://www.battery-usa.com/Catalog/HR_RS_0001_1202.pdf here are the specs .

You realy have a freaking powerplant !

Thanks for the specs man! I knew these batts were powerful but had no idea they were THAT powerful, lol. I was literally like HOLY SHIT when I read the wattage output. I bet these will be enough for just powering a single 3500D B)

I'll have a vid up soon, did a little free air testing with a SAE-1000D powering all 12 at .67 ohm. Tested ohm load with my Fluke 337, and it reads about .8ohm

Here's a sneak peek

And here is my wiring diagram

I know holy hell that was a long pic

Vid's will be up once they are uploaded/processed.

Well, I was going to check tracking status to see if you received the white bastard...

But it looks like you did! :)

Nice Clamp meter you got there, spent a few bucks on that 337 :)

I bet my old DC Power alt will run circles around your EA alt at idle :)

Keep us updated with pics :)

Edit...

The difference in voltage range from craftsman to fluke is most likely do to the fact that the fluke clamp measures in true rms where as the craftsman does not, true rms readings will always be the most accurate. :)
