But the V1's are definitely one of the best out... price is a lil high for me though. I'm thinking about getting one for 399.99 off their website but i've heard that this company will no longer make any upgrades for this detector or even release a v2. Also why is it cheaper directly from their site and more expensive on other sites like sonicelctronics or ebay? somerandomguy Posted May 8, 2010 Report Share Posted May 8, 2010 I saw an ad for this today in like car and driver magazine or something like that. $400, ouch. Also, it seems to me is all it has that any other radar detector doesn't is it tells you from what direction, which I don't know how that is really going to help you.
