Thorshammer, I can haz piece of DC pie?

Recommended Posts

looks pretty nasty but since its on the egde, most of the impact would have been diverted outwards. i dont think itll be a problem but im sure rusty will come in some time and give his input.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

I would go ahead and file a claim against the shipping company anyway.

I they can't do their job rite than someone needs to receive consiquences and if everyone that doesn't file a claim that needs too then not enough conciquences will be given out for the companies to realize that they need to tighten up their quality control. Now this may take 2 years to come around but hey you put out alot of money for a product and Rusty put alot of time and care into that product.

Why in the hell should you have to suffer the consquences nomatter how small they might be.

The shipping company owes you a brand new subwoofer that looks exactly the way it look when it left the manufacture. PERIOD.

Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

You have to kidding if you think that will effect that sub in any way. Sweet sub though it will kill your back soon! haha

I figured it wouldn't, but some of the replies have me nervous now. I will be logging off in a few. Won't be back on until after 6pm central tomorrow when I get back from work. Hopefully rusty and others will chime in with their opinion.

I also feel I should get a flawless sub. It's funny because I was so scared that this would happen because shipping companies flat out suck imo. I have spent a few MONTHS collecting the pieces to my puzzle. This was the last piece and look what happened. I might have not said anything at all if I was sure to have it in regular enclosure, but I was actually thinking about adding plexiglass. :censored: Pending other comments I will decide to keep or send back. the time it would take to send back and get a return sub would be demoralizing.

OP I have some large chunks missing from my motor as well. It does not take away from performance at all. Having said that mine are much larger than what you pictured while it does take away from the cosmetic value it shouldnt deter you from powering that monster up and wang out!!

Now as far as filing a claim I would do so but dont expect any quick responses from them. Thats gonna take awhile but in the end ya may end up with some money who knows.

I'm sure if your not 100% satisfied with your sub Rusty will take care of you. Thats just how he rolls! :)

P.S. Nice title and yes you can have a piece of the DC Pie! Wooooot!!

Filing a claim with a shipper usually means they will take the item and hold on to it until the investigation is complete.

So if you file a claim, be prepared to go without a sub for a few months.
