The point isnt to not pay the fine, the point is the cop had no reason to even roll up and ask for ID and insurance. Like you said already, you could have trailer'd it there..... unloaded it and parked the tow pig and trailer out of site. If the cop was smart he would have rolled up, told yall to scram then pulled you over once you pulled out onto the street.

I think he wasn't within his guideline when he pulled you over, so what I would do is go to court and tell him everything that happened and if the judge wants to be a dick and not let you off then just ask him for and extention to get your charges signed off.

Insurance ticket will go away as long as you bring a valid copy to the court house from your provider with dates that show you were covered. The other shit just depends, most of the time they do it just because of the simple fact that it may or may not humble you a bit with having to spend time in court and also lose a bit of money from working and a few other things.

I've gotten a ticket for doing below speed limit from a cop on the inside lane of the freeway trying to stop people for speeding with his emergency lights on with no actual emergency or vehicle stopped. Inappropriate passing is what they called it I had a vehicle next to me at the time so I couldn't merge right. Spoke with the police chief a week later.. an he said it was bullshit. Went to court.. an it was dismissed. You get tons of BS tickets when you drive a fly ride!

Some cops are dicks, just gotta deal with it. Like its already been said, when you have illegal tint and blue HIDs, you make yourself a target for getting shit thrown at you. If you made your ride nice so you would get attention, now you got it. You can either take him to court or pay the fines. Either way, get over it. Cops will always be dicks, you aren't going to change that. So enough with the "but I was in a parking lot, boo fucking hoo", crying about it here does nothing, take it to the judge and see what he says. He could have easily waited for you to get on the road and pegged you there.

you aren't gonna get it dropped. pay the fine. IF you try the "i had it towed there" story, and he happens to drop it, that cop is just going to pull you over EVERYTIME he see's you. pay the shit.

or, pay the full fine and forget the fix it. you dont HAVE to pay the 75 + get it signed off.

you can pay the full fine (here its 91 dollars) and be on your way. the cop will probably forget about it and not keep an eye out for you if you do it this way.

i got one a while back and had to get it signed off, but i found out you can pay the full fine and not get it signed off (but risk getting stopped again)

i have 5% on my windshield...when i get pulled over i just pay the ticket, becuase its clearly illegal. if you dont want a ticket, remove the tint.

if u dont want to be stopped at all, remove all mods.

Parking lots are legally private property, so unless the owner of the store/lot called the police about your tint/headlights, then the cop shouldn't have pulled you over.

And aren't tint/headlights and whatever a secondary offense? Like, they have to have another reason to pull you over, then they can get you for that? That's how it is around here. Like, if you have tinted windows, they can't pull you for it, but if you have a broken taillight, they can pull you for that, and then give you a ticket for the tint.

That is why you talk to your state represenative and find out what ur legal maximum tint is you can have on your window, then u go to the shop where u got it from and have them give u a certified peice of paper saying what it is. You could also go to a doctor and get a bogus prescription saying u have an eye condition where you need the tint to be that dark. Your state represenative will also tell you how bright of lights you can have, and what color they can be. Insurance ticket will get droped once the States attorney sees ur paper stating u had insurance. But all that aside, why spend the money to do something to ur vehicle without first finding out if its legal or illegal, because its just wasting your money and your time having to fix everything. Thats my 2 cents. Oh village or town/city laws can very from the set state laws ie. there is no state law probly for sound systems but most towns have a 50-75ft ordnance on systems.
