dwright27 Posted April 17, 2010 Author Report Posted April 17, 2010 gonna bump this until sunday. we had some problems at trhe show in columbia with the Audiocontrol linedriver. seems DD doesnt like anything more then 4 volts input on the RCAs. so sunday, we will be ripping the linedriver out, and throwing it in the river down the road. Getting in the box somehow, because we have HELLLLLA rise, to like 5.8 ohms or 5.3 ohms. cant remember exactly, and each sub is only seeing 1000 rms or so instead of 2000 or so per. so, we HAVE to get inside, and drop the amps to .25 each, so after rise they should be fine and around 3 ohms instead of the ridiculously high rise we have now. got 10KW on tap and can only use 4500 - 5000 of it ...:BLOWS: 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. dwright27 Posted April 27, 2010 Author Report Posted April 27, 2010 well ended up dropping a coil on one of the woofers saturday. sooo we had to do this Edit: we eneeded to get in the box anyway to wire the subs down for less rise. corona_jeff Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 lets say the amps at .25 are like a fire breathing dragon. Its notiable louder with alot left and plays music very well. I guess when rise is an issue just wire it all the way and let it rip.
