MTX J30 Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 (edited) I remember reading awhile ago that Steve Meade was getting towed and the tow truck started to lift in the air because his car was so heavy. How heavy are your cars and has anything llike this happened to you? How heavy is meades tahoe Edited February 3, 2010 by MTX J30 Quote Once or twice I have missed having a back seat / rear hatch, but all in all people love to see a walled vehcile. It just screams "i'm not fucking around with my setup, im loud"
BeatBox Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 I havent hear anything about meade towing his tahoe, if anything he would get it put on a flat bed. i think he said something about how much it weighs when they where loading it into the semi getting ready to go to the palms. as far as how much my truck weighs....i have no idea but it saggs in the rear, it about an in. lowere than the front :-( Quote

wL<3bass Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 (edited) My stereo weighed in at about 550lbs (100ft of 1/, two t10001bbd, t8004, two spv35, hc2400, 2.5sheets of mdf, two Fi BLs) I put bags on the rear of my blazer b/c it was sitting about 1/2-3/4" off the bump stops and the smallest bump would make it hit the bump stops.... That was with just me in it.... I would regularly have 4-5ppl in my car, at one point I had 300lbs of luggage and food and a 4g63 engine in the back along with the stereo and two passengers.....the thing was slammed the whole drive (2000miles) after seeing how bad my tires were buldging and how bad my springs were getting I fitted my Blazer with airbags in the rear....not on a compressor but just a Schrader valve and inflated them to 20psi.
