anything over 150 db hurts me ive sat in 158 db before i wouldnt dare to sit in anything over a 160 the shop i go to the owner had a 167 db festiva and he said that he sat in it when it burped and he had blood coming out of his nose lol so yeah it can cause brain damage depending on how many db it is but if i had to say 155+db would cause it after prolonged time anything less is just cause ur not use to it yet

I'd like to see this 167 dB Festiva, and/or proof of numbers.

Only 1 Festiva I know of even close to that, and its been sort of retired for a few years now.

And unless its an extreme car, there are only 3 or 4 cars in the US at 167 or higher.

bass dosen't do shit and isn't shit. its all in frequency and the cabin gain. certainly if u were to play a tone at the resonant frequency of your skull at a certain dB level it would vibrate your skull.

im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire.

Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block....

Yea, my bass blurs my vision sometimes too. It depends on the song, though. I think its alright. Really you should be more worried about your ears then brain and eyes.

Tbh with you.

Not trying to scare you but if 2 12's and 1K hurt's you better go see the doctor.

same thing was happening to a friend of mine about 4 yrs ago and come to find out he had a brain tumor. seriously because 1k shouldnt be affecting your BRAIN at all!

All bullshit between you and I aside I couldnt agree more...........Any issues from bass should be looked into.

And was your friend ok in the end?
