OBNXIOU$ Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 I am assuming being as picky as you are about your stuff, that your paint guy is good! Having a friend paint your vehicle can make or break friendships! Does the body shop have a baking booth? (to get that OEM durability) Don't forget to ensure the body guys mask anything under your truck you don't want caked in overspray, especially those calipers.. ha.. I am sure its under control, but thought I would throw my 2 cents in... The Performer Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 Hahahaha!!! So I get on youtube just now and see you put up a new video Steve, wow... Even in the description you still are knocking on my new color... Like I said, coming up real soon, nipple pink is going to be the next new hottness in the automotive color scene. Think about it, what guy doesn't like TA-TA's with pink nipples? And not only that, nipple pink can be done in many shades just like in real life, it's a very fluctuating color. I don't know about you guys, but there's not too damn many TA-TA's with pink nipples that I don't like. Who knows, my new color might just even make it into your grandkids' crayola boxes.... All I know is if that happens I better get a copyright on that and get a cut of the cash... Quote CERTIFIED BITCHES!!! Not being new at something doesn't mean anything. Just because a prostitute isn't new at what she does, doesn't change the fact that she still 'sucks' Click to see my build! Proud DC owner
czman30 Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 you should have picked candy apple red but you should but that dark red kinda looks like it wont stand out Quote Introduce a no fat chicks in the whip rule. Im gonna have tech force make up a sign that says that and put it on my car lol
UKnoitsMe Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 ^^ what? Quote Man I'm glad I didn't lock this I get to witness two retards holding hands telling each other that it'll be ok because they are awesome.
Blackedout Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 no ninja pics tomorrow, i am dropping it off and it will be a minute before they fix the mangled rear end...who knows how long its going to take but hopefully not too long! that paint and the new air system as the finishing touch will be real nice for spring time You're going to paint the truck and then work on it, and risk messin up the new paint? Not my truck, but if it were mine, I'd throw the air shocks in it. Whether they are flat, or pumped up from your air compressor at home. It's almost impossible not to touch the car when putting new suspension in. On a side note, I'm really glad you picked a color besides blue. I think it'll look sick as hell. I'm also glad the jambs are getting painted too. Any chance that the engine bay will get painted as well? Either way, it's going to look hot. Way to come up on the accident lol. Quote Trunk Build Log
thehoe92 Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 You're going to paint the truck and then work on it, and risk messin up the new paint? Not my truck, but if it were mine, I'd throw the air shocks in it. Whether they are flat, or pumped up from your air compressor at home. It's almost impossible not to touch the car when putting new suspension in. I did my whole suspension without even touching the paint, unless he's getting the wheel wells and undercarriage painted as well I'm sure it will be fine. dark red alts would be SICK!! but that would almost mean a lot more stuff would have to be painted either way I want to see the finished product Quote Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
