AUDIOADDICT02
That's like a leaking sealed box 4 that sub...! your minimum port area 4 that sub @34hz should be 146sq.in. Forevrbumpn
to damn big what are you running, 100 watts? I personally love long ports in daily boxes, and that port area would be fine in a 6 cf box, just longer port edit: I seen the wrong number for airspace, but still even 9.8cf pretty big for just 1 BTL 18 1 Pair would be fine, but again, change the port Edited March 2, 2010 by Forevrbumpn Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. Marlo Stanfield
How much power are u running?? Why did u design the enclosure to be nearly 10ft3 after displacement?? The port area for this particular design isn't even close to where it needs/suppose to be. You only currently have 70in^2 of port area and the box calc clearly states that you should be in the range of 119-158^2. This box besides only the tuning seems to just be doomed to fail in every aspect. I'd suggest that you start over after doing a little more research into what size enclosures an 18" BTL likes. kl0wn
Says the depth of the box is only 14, then the port length is 20...you need to click "Check if Port Bends" Edited March 2, 2010 by kl0wn Quote 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz
