i'm too lazy to cover my boxes so i always just end up putting some texture paint on them

You could ndo that, easy, c@heap, and looks really good

Ceramic Tile and adhesive. Make the box a lot sturdier and might look good at the same time.. hehe

or use the floating wood flooring stuff and glue it to the enclosure. That way you'll get a nice stained wooden floor look. People might want to walk on you box though.
