True story, woke up last night from a dream that I was installing 21 D3400s in a van for someone... When the only piece of your original door panel is the top part that hooks in the track and the door handle trim. When the thought crosses your mind to fiberglass in a new dash so you can free up the spot that it covers your door panel so you can put a couple more speakers in your doors. When the thought that door poppers might be a good investment so you don't have to have inner door handles in the way of speakers. When you create zips of test tones for others to use. (I might be alone on that one, lol) When you find it necessary to drop the bass line of a song from 50Hz to 30Hz. When you think of women as being a distraction to completing your build. When you start moving engine components to fit more alternators in. When you download user's manuals for the equipment you want to buy. When you are willing to eat nothing but ramen noodles and sandwiches for months just to save money for new speakers. When you spend so much time on the SMD forum that you start talking like you're on the forum in real life. I.E. /thread, +1 When you are going to pay more for a head unit than you did for your house. (Again, probably alone on that one) When you buy a thousand feet of speaker wire. When you make a Google Sketchup of your door panels.
