MADVIBES Posted June 4, 2011 Author Report Posted June 4, 2011 New updates!!!! After playing with the port and some other secret voodoo, I was able to test one 18" in my box. I let someone barrow one of my sub amps so i tested the new port design with 1 18" and 1 amp. The number was staggering. 150.0@32hz cant wait to install the second amp and 18" sub! i might break that 152.0 after all. Also put in a prototype sub that was a dual 2 ohm verse the dual 1ohm 18" subs i have now. I hit a 148.5@32hz but here is the neat part. I was 5db higher 22hz than the 18" subs i currently have. The prototype is being rebuilt this week so look for a test on thursday. If my calculations are acurate i might be able to break a 151.0@32hz with one 18" and possible get near 150@22hz.... will give updates with pics once testing is complete! If the numbers are crazy! i will build a second proto and use them to compete. a woofer than can handle 6000 watt rms with 100db@1 watt......exciting!
