I dunno man... I'm pretty sure a DDZ would punch you in the face if you connected it to an AP30001D.

id go with them dd3500 they will last longer and will take abuse if you give it to it! and if you got $1k to spend on an amp you could deff get many cuality brands, i'd start in the 4k watt range!

I love car audio so much because I will never be done. I can never win, and I will never get it finished or perfect. It always has me coming back for more, I can never get my fill of it, but I get what I need.

Im running a Mmats 3000.05 on 2 DD 9515's and they beat.. Doing about a 150 under 2500 watts.. But both the 3515's and the Mmats M3000 would fall in your price range... But i would choose the DD subs over the dreads any day.. But mmats does have a Hybrid sub that would work for you as well.. I have a new mmats M3000 i can sell ya cheap if you do go that way.. They also make a 4000w amp made just for competing that would fall in you price range as well.. Just PM me if you want prices on the subs or amps...

hmm 3gs to spend on car audio, this is kind of off topic doesn't really answer the question but i would go with 2 15in fi bl subs, and a hifonics bxi 2610 amp that would come out to roughly 1000 dollars pretty cheap, then you got 1500 to 2000 to spend on building a proper box getting all your wiring done right getting a new alternator and an extra battery, what not for your electrical. sound damping the entire car so it doesn't fall apart lol and i think you would be super loud, just thinking out loud here off the top of my head haha, good luck though i know your gonna be beating the block pretty hard no matter what you do!!

Nah.....I'm set on the DD's. I'm not too worried about sound dampening cause it's not gonna be for comps. It's going in my project car that I drive to school and will take to a few car shows and cruise in's around here with some friends. Just a hard ground pounder that I can drive around when I feel like it and have fun with. I'm still gonna have enough for the electrical. And if I go over $3k, I'll just get more money....I have a time I'd LIKE to get it installed by, but if I don't...oh well. It can take a lil longer. No biggie.
