i dont have a very good table saw and to be honest, im a little scared of them. I took one to the gut one too many times over the years and i know to many people named stubby -

if ur good, i believe u (and i know your good and i do believe you)... but im not. I like panel saws for shear speed and safety. A little help on a nice vacuum system for it will be coo.......same for my router table when i get it.

Check out sawstop.com. They sell really nice table saws with an amazing safety feature built in.

If you get a good tablesaw, it makes all the difference. A big table as well as big fence. However, if you do most of the work on your own, a panel saw is easier to handle. But in terms of all the other trim pieces you could make, the table saw would rock for that. And hell yeah, saw stop saws are crazzzyyy safe!! Good luck man!

Badass shop steve!!! Ever though about getting a cnc router? That would be pretty safe and perfect cuts every time. They're pretty damn expensive though. Can't wait to see the shit that comes out of smd hq!

Fuck building the shelves get the home depot style heavy duty shelves. i'll take some pics of ours when i get home. Or you could drop by and check them out for yourself (3500sq ft shop)
