TeamHT
Ohh shit, what ended up happening? i already knew a lot of the swap was going to be a monster, but there was just way too much and the work and money required to complete the project wasnt worth it in my opinion. i got the incorrect sump, on the 1jz only the front arrangement will fit. the company that made new wiring for the swap no longer carried the kit, and just so many things that make you want to punch babies. who knows, maybe ill do it again...but for chassis reasons it would be easier to go with an early 80s gt-4 Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you? C-Fizzy
Wouldn't a 1jz fit better in a early 90's rx-7? More engine space than toyota. P.s. Sorry for threadjacking under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy? Sorry for threadjacking true, i apologize for getting sidetracked. thats my only flaw as a human...lol. but i want to say this really quick!!! if youre going to go into an rx7, the mounts for the 1jz and 2jz are virtually the same. and the 1jz with w154 tranny would mount nicely to the rear differential of the 13b. good thing is there is an FC and an FD3S kit for complete swaps of the 1jz or 2jz into mazdas, lol Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
