lead acid. are they going in the bed of a truck. I will never use a lead acid based battery in the interior of a car.

The batteries still put off noxious, poisonous fumes when they charge, because of the chemical reactions that take place. If you insist of running them, fab up an enclosure for them, and vent it outside the car. The fumes from the batts can kill you.. just so you know. Doesn't matter if they're sealed or not. The batts are still lead acid, not AGM.
