Sorry to invade but if i do as is staed pos to pos neg to neg fuse blah blah, which batt do i hook the amp up to? the front batt or the rear battery?

witch bat. is closer to the amp?

im thinking on adding a batt. in the trunk also or replacing the batt. under hood? sorry for butting in, this will probably help you too. thanks.

I heard that too. But I'm going to replace the one in front after anyway to a yellowtop or like an Hc1400 or something.

Shit I thought I was going to have to buy ANOTHER battery for the front since it's a duralast. But it's kickin like a champ, read 12.93 volts resting, same as my new kenetik hc2000.

i have the same exact battery under the hood have had it for over a year now i have 3 runs off of the alternator going to it and then to the back batteries never had a problem

Are you going to run an isolator? If not you may come out to a dead battery under the hood...

sorry for using this thread but i want to run a second battery in my truck. but im gonna do the big 3. and i am planning on running 1 of my amps off my bat under the hood and the other 2 off the one in the rear. i am planing on using 0/1 awg to connect the 2 bat's and 4 awg for the 3 amps. or should i just run all 3 amps off the rear bat??? im not sure

bassin' in a reg cab ranger, thats whats up.
