rusty959
Actually you said nothing about their usefulness short of "bass knobs mean nothing unless you know wtf your doing with them" But ill let it slide by saying you shouldn't use the theory that something isn't a selling point because some people don't know how to use it properly.... 2013 Subaru BRZ12" Orion HCCA on AQ 22001967 mustang restoration project: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110765-mustang-restoration-build-2011-edition/ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/therusty959
hdorre
OMG I GOTTA GET RF AMPS RIGHT NOW JUST CAUSE OF THAT STATEMENT. 2) bass knobs mean nothing unless you know wtf your doing with them 3) doesnt mean anything about the company. that 15000 rms amp costs about half your house 4) so? 5) so does like every other amp brand out htere 6) same thing as #5, same function. 1) I meant that the amps get a lot of attention. Look at his youtube views and comments..especially on the build 2) Rusty already explained that 3) I wasnt referring specifically to that amp. I used it as an example to show how powerful some of the amps were. Sometimes need more than 2000 watts for their setups and alpine can't help them with that. RF can 4) It allows for more flexibility with wiring. 5) Click on this link and view the pictures: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12019_Alpine+MRP-M2000.html Do you see any ports for master/slave? 6) Same thing, do you see any ports for linking amps? melonhead
I've always used Alpine amps for my mids and highs. Alpine amps put out clean power. My only complaint is they run very hot and that's even at 4 ohm.

Ricky A.
save up a little more money and get the t2000 or what I would do is get a aq2200 to power it and its wayyyy cheaper. I have one and I love it. It says it puts out 2200 rms but its underrated. also it comes with a bass knob and its linkable. thats just my opinion, what do you guys think? btw the amp is only 400 bucks ok i looked at the audioque but is theres gotta be a reason its cheaper.. is not up to par with the quality of the alpine? but i do like that its 1 ohm stable and comes with a bass knob.. CNF Kevosinn
ok i looked at the audioque but is theres gotta be a reason its cheaper.. is not up to par with the quality of the alpine? but i do like that its 1 ohm stable and comes with a bass knob.. The reason its cheaper is because its not a well known brand like rockford or alpine. If you take a look at the crescendo audio 3kpw it puts out 3300 watts rms and it only costs 550 bucks, the amp is literally the same as the sundown 3000 and that amp retails for 1500 bucks. The only difference is the heat sink. It has been take apart and proven. My point is that you don't have to pay a fortune to get good equipment. Ill post a link up to show a comparison. *** SuperSeller Status Verified *** ( http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers/ ) "kevosinn's" astro van 8 custom Sundown Zv4 18's 4 Sundown scv 6000's CNF Distribution CNC parts Skyhigh wire some batteries SMD Meters and tools used on the installhttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172877-kevosinns-vanwest-coast-skyhigh-car-audio-vehicle/ 16,000 watt walled silverado build.http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161965-walled-silverado-4-hdc4-15s-4-crescendo-3500s-and-much-more/ 8,000 watt 1999 Subaru legacy outback.
