The higher the more amperage it pulls, this is what I look at. All eg flat SLA at 0 my pioneer DEH 8400bh doesn't trip the dd-1 at volume 62/62 on the front/rear RCA's. The sub level at volume 62/62 can't be maxed out but on click below, I believe its +5.
