Car Audio - What to major in in college?

Recommended Posts

If i wanted a job dealing with car audio (probably own my own shop someday or something like that) what should i major or minor in in college? I mean.. besides getting my basic\advanced\master MECP...

Def. start with a business major with a minor in accounting.. that way you can manage your own business and money and not have to pay other to do it.. keep it all in business it self.

he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:

Well depending on what part of the car audio...I'm planning to major electrical engineering and minor industrial engineering...hope to work for a place like sundown or something and design subs and amp that are more efficient than what they are now. But ya for a shop i would guess business and accounting...

No joke. It's probably very unattractive to you, but in order to run a business, you have to know business.

I'm going for electrical engineering to design amps and head units. I would recommend entrepreneurship (spelling?) And accounting if you were gonna own/run your own shop

Agree I'm doing electrical Engineering with a concentration in auto, and minor in mechanical. But I wouldn't say u need a business degree, but definitely have business classes

take baby steps, u cant do it all at once unless u have a roll of 100's big enough to choke a donkey
