sactownstang
My Crx rear is collapsing under weight of the equipment and batterys.... What's the best solution.... I don't know much about suspension some folks wher saying coilovers that adjust.... Not looking for anything fancy but the rides getting unsafe to drive. Each bump is a worry that the tire will pop after being scraped on...

Time for a suspension upgrade..New Struts for sure...Now for coilovers, it is a toss in the hat..I would first purchase some new struts that should help you out tremendously... roscoe1129
bags are always a great help for added weight and you dont have to do anything fancy just runs some lines to the bags and run the lines to say the fender well and put regular stem type fillers (like on rims) screwed into the fender well so you can easily adjust your ride.... civichatch
if you are interested in lowering your car a set of springs with a high load capactity are a good idea. I lowered my car and it has a high spring rate. I acctaully have alot less drop int he rear end after upgrading springs. Big P
If your a cheap ass or pore or its not your daily beater. You can goto any parts store and get spring spacers this will bring it back up for under 15 bucks. Another thing I would look into is to see if you can run springs from a accord or 4 door civic
Hypnotik DesignZ
I would go with the spring spacers for a quick fix but not for to long because if you buttom out with those you might end up bending some thing but if your careful I guess you can use them for awhile Quote Jensen 9511TS~For Sale JL Audio 300/4~For Sale JL Audio1000/1~For Sale Mephis 6.5 componet sets front and rear 4 15" Fi Q's in a 16 cuft box tuned to 29hrz

sactownstang
New struts will fix the problem for a minute, but when u have major batterys and all the weight it's ruff. Was looking to cut into the rear of the car for a battery rack, lol if I could get 4 more in their it would be on the ground!
