BITLD Posted July 1, 2010 Report Share Posted July 1, 2010 nope didnt have the angles wrong either, tried pretty much every possible angle, that really wasn't the issue, it depends on what woofers are being used. The woofers depth has to be less than 6.5, and the motor diameter also comes into play as well. I am all to aware with motor dia when it comes to diamond and clamshell designs If your saying you had the same angles and they didnt fit and you replicated Tommys box, then that says you did something wrong. Besides, there a better designs out there. Just like there is NOTHING easy about what i did to Chickens Caddy. Just like there is nothing easy about a lot of builds you see here. When people post pics they make it look easy but projects the size of that one have an incredible amount of work in them. The guy deserves all the attention he gets and the title that it landed him, KOB. They are both great in the bass world, but different. The guy with the van is in the same boat, The fact that Steve is ALMOST as loud as walled setup's is SIC, Now imagine if he walled something off.... lower tuning is just hard.
