TeamHT
Not a myth, and not a fact. It's a safety precaution. Time isn't something anyone can say, and i always like to run the subs free air before installation. Those FIs are beautiful and can take a beating and they will sure get louder and lower the more the subs break in and loosen the suspension. I always break my subs in but that's just me. I live in Alaska and there's no such thing as a quick fix or just shipping stuff up. Easier to play it safe Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you? Beanz
Oh there is a break in time and let me tell you how to do it Install the subs in your box, wire them up and just let em wang full tilt lol easy as that man Quote That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do. Nice, ill admit there times when I just let them slap full tilt but honestly, I try to be safe with them. No reports or actual evidence to prove subs require breakin, there are just some things I don't like gambling. Edited July 17, 2010 by TeamHT Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
