Even if you are a dumb criminal, everyone has seen a movie, people always shoot at cops, cops always shoot back. So pointing a weapon at an officer you know they are going to point one back if not shoot you first. I agree the guy was looking for a way out, sorry you had to be involved. I too hope to be an officer some day, and ill be the first to tell you, if someone pulls a weapon on me, shoot first ask questions later.... Just doesn't seem so...undercover... Murder is not easy but theres always another side. Maybe he wasn't mentally healthy, maybe he wanted to die, maybe he was just looking for something we don't understand. Never killed someone, but have been shot, stabbed, and seen myself in situations where it has to.be....me or him. I choose me Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

Those are the people you are going to be seeing everyday of your life and will know the best how this is affecting you and how you are reacting to it. Those are the people who will matter most, other than a few pixals on the screen. i mean really, what "advice" can a 18 year old kid give you? You need someone who has dealt with this and you to help you with this, maybe there are a few ex-military on this board that know, but other than that it is a bunch of 18 year old kids looking for a feeling of grandeur in their lives.

I just think he should look for help in other areas and really figure out if this is what he wants to do for a living.
