Alex K
I can't decide which to get. I want to throw maybe 3-4k at a sub, and my mind was set on a xl 15, but then again I want to do it right this time and really get loud and was thinking a lvl 5 would be the best bet. Whats the max power you guys think a lvl 5 could handle daily? Edited July 29, 2010 by Alex K Quote 2006 Nissan Z Track. Robert8252
I've seen in person and on here a few times that people run over 5k to a lvl 5. So definately go with the 5. Alex K
Ye I agree.. the lvl 5 is not that much more than the xl, but then again im looking at more money on an amp and maybe another xs in the trunk. clouduz
with that amount of power I know a lvl5 could handle it, so if it's one with 3-4k a lvl 5 if 2.5k on down to rms I say lvl4xl. I'm only running 1600 to my 1 15" lvl4XL and shit bangs

spl4life
in the long run i think the lvl 5 will do you good... if you deiced to get more power, you dont have to worry about your sub not able to handle it... im using the lvl 5 for daily... equipment in my sig.... and i bearly get it past 2000watts... with a tiny truck cabin, i personally find it unconfortable to drive in... maybe a differnt story in a trunk setup... but yes... consider the other aspects of your setup...more batts.. bigger amp.. mbdblue
level 5 would be a safer bet. After my XL, I wouldnt try anything over 3k daily with it.
