Good question, 137.8 with that amount of cone area and 2K it´s really bad, i didn´t see any cancelattion on the vid really, maybe wrong wiring??

something HAS to be wired wrong.. hell my 2 setups ive had both 2 12s did a 144 on 2 12s on 1.2k and 2 12s on 2k did a 145.1 (both in a TRUNK), some HAS to be wrong

edit: this was a budget build? you would have been better off running 2 12s or 2 15s, better subs for the same price with a way higher number...

Well, sometimes budget builds like this works fine, we hit a 145.2 with 2K and 4 Pioneer´s 10" yesterday on a daily box, it´s fun hehe

yea i was hating just suggesting you recheck your wiring cap something might be fighting you.

Agreed with wiring and move your box around (forward inch by inch) to see if you get better numbers.

Here is the deal! Your box design has mad cancellation. the way you have your ports wont fly with your subs so far away. You need to slide the ports into the box. slide the box back about 6" away from the rear hatch. You will gain atleast 5db by doing this. I guarantee it! the box is centered in the car giving the front waves and the rear waves a good oportunity to cancel one another.

I have used ports very far from subs without any cancelattion, yes maybe it could get louder getting the tubes inside the box but, if he can´t hear any major difference to the ear, it means that he´s not gaining much, yes he could gain some by finding the sweet spot of the box inside the car, 5 dbs is A LOT, hope you are right and he gain that, but i wouldn´t guarantee it
