So if they are on my property attempting to cause damage or harm the law states that i CAN and oh i will use lethal force!

I say use a paintball, BB, or pellet gun and shoot the dumb bastard next time they walk up to your vehicle. I mean if you use something like that how are they gonna prove to the cops what you did. Are they gonna call the cops and tell them they was fixing to break into your vehicle and you shot them with a gun, lol I seriously doubt it! Just something to think about! Just something to think about! while it is true that they probably wont go to the cops, they can. ig they are hurt on your property they can sue you. a few thousand bucks from you is well worth month they will probably spend in jail. but if you stop them too early... well now you have no case against them and they do no jail time. you do have the rite to arrest them. wait nearby with a few friends. rush the guy after he breaks into the car. then call the cops to collect him. or come out with the gun and see if you can get him to lay down and stay put. there was a story on here a while back where the neighbor came out with an assault rifle, him and the owner of the car held the thief down at gun point until the cops came lol. but again, remember, the person has to commit the crime 1st. you cant detain him because you were pretty sure he was going to do something. Such as you can't use a lethal weapon if the person is not coming at you with a lethal weapon. If you walked up to someone while breaking inside the window of your car and stabbed them they most likely are going home after the hospital and you'll be doing jail time.
