Sundown Audio

Some open discussion on product development.

Recommended Posts

I'm still waiting on some components. Been holding off on my build...lol not really, but it would be nice to have all Sundown speakers. Had my SA8s for over a year now and STILL haven't got around to doing an install, so I'm not in a huge rush. Any word on comps yet, or are they still a "down the road" type of thing?

Like many have said. I plan on running sundown and would love some components. Also SA-18's would be pretty awesome! Just a nice budget 18 and its Sundown so its bound to get loud! lol

Jacob just an idea here but i think it would be marketable for you but what about some 4 way components? I am thinking an 8" mid bass, 6.5" mid, 4" mid-tweet, and then a tweet obviously. I just think that the 8" would fill the gap between the sub stage and front. and a lot of people on here end up adding something like that anyway. Im not saying a high power monster 8 but something that is like 3.5 to 4" mounting depth with a nice even reponse curve. And having it off of an x-over would save from adding another amp to power it.

:drinks:

Sundown is probably my favorite company at the moment because Jacob actually communicates with the forums, keeps us up to date on his projects, and the like.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

I am testing some mid-level components -- but not ETA just yet.

how about the x 8 progress any updates on that beast

Wish I had something for you -- we had to depart from our normal factories to make that model and it's been delay after delay after delay! As soon as I have ANYTHING I will put it up :drink40:
