sub2weeker Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Took the truck out to do some Termlab testing just for kicks to test out the new HU and play with my gains and limiter on the amp to see what is best and well here are the results along with a wiring diagram for 2 D1s on the Warhorse as promised. 2 D1 wired to the Warhorse The box that is in the truck now is 16.5 cuft before displacements this works out to about 7 cuft per driver after displacements. Now for the numbers. First test was done at 5000w 2500w per sub. 42hz tone Second test was done at RMS rated power for the SMDs 7000w 3500w per sub. 42hz tone Third test was done at full power from the Warhorse 10000w 5000w per sub. 42hz tone What do yall think. in all honesty very dissapointing. guys out here are doing this on music with a single 18. i truly had hoped this thing would have a video of you doing at least a 153 so people will quit talking shit about the SMD subs. this is spam imo, its not allowed here

In all honesty I really dont care what guys are doing out there. I will get these subs playing music in the 150s it just takes alot off work. I guarantee "those guys" you speak of didnt just build one box and bam it magically worked. I will also be willing to bet that they are giving the subs more than 3500 watts. I will also bet that they are building in vehicles that are much easier to make loud than my f150. People have no concept how hard f150s are to get loud Cj when you get the 5s back in can you burp it at 49hz, my box is tuned to 35hz and I still peak at 49 My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
