Bada BIG bada BUM! new box!! 6" Aeroport, sanded. looking guud! some midnight blue paint on it. mm JBL still at 4ohm. grounds connected, that's 6x 0AWG (50mm2) on negative side and 6x 0AWG on positive side... AMP connected finally! connected battery, and BOOM! results: highest SPL so far is 142,1dB it's abit less, but sounds ALOT better! i am so happy to achieve windshield -flex with one 12" and 600W RMS. last month i got zero none nill votes for SOTM better luck this month! i could really use some alternator-power... corolla stock ALT is 60A www.peranurkka.net Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Looks pro, but seems overkill, no ?!!! i got so many 0ga because i couldn't fit more. actually when i was buying the battery the seller wanted to sell those cables also, battery was 200euros and cables was +50 euros. so they were really cheap so to say. i got now problem, it was measured in termlab last weekend, i hit 141,6dB peak at 41Hz (with song, not burb) and 139,3dB 33s average, so i have climbed up 2,3dB since last time, but that just isnt not enough. i need to push clearly over 140dB on average. there is no room inside car anymore. i need to rebuild my interior panel from the back, to screw it tightly, and do some voodoo- tricks to hit that 140db. i cannot put anymore gain from amp because it is maxed , tho element is not smoking and everytime i push more and more volume/sublevel, out comes .1 or .2 more dB on peak, but on average the voicecoil heats up pretty quick and i loode dB's. www.peranurkka.net Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
