Alex K
lvl 5 = 8O lbs 2 saz3k 60 lbs 3 sprinters = 280 lbs box = 65 lbs wires = 10 lbs foam/wood/carpet = 6 lbs (guess) My trunk weighs a whoppping 500 lbs. i'd say my cars almost a good 10* with the ground. What the heck can I do about this? forget bags. I was thinking different springs, but i have no idea.. It's not a good idea to drive around with the car like that all the time with 14 yr old springs is it? I see some bad shit happening soon if i dont change it. Robert8252
What type of car do you have? Need to find out the stock spring rating and find one with a better load rating or progressive rating where it gets stiffer with more weight. And suspension is supposed to be replaced every 50k miles or so you know... Boon
What's the rear suspension setup on them? I put my WRX wagon on Cusco coilovers and it rode flat and steady as ever even with an assload of gear in the back. Edited September 29, 2010 by Boon Quote 10.x volts fo' life! Rainman215
Ive got ground control coilovers with koni sport shocks on my 02 accord. Ive got 4 batteries a wall etc etc etc. I still have plenty of height adjustment to play around with. You probably dont want something as expensive though. I think twistedchild420 used some spring spacer thing on his or dreks mustang. IDK how those things work but you can contact him or google it.
