Just people talking on the forums about "this person should be louder" or "that's it" or stuff along those lines.

I've seen this a lot and think it comes from people just not understanding. Just like stated above where someone is comparing a 2002 score to a modern score. Different meters and measurement techniques had led to people not knowing how to compare scores. If Steve went back in time to 2002, his truck would be doing 162+ on that meter.

I have been wanting to educate people more and more on all of this. And basically say that unless you are in the lane next to the other guy, there is no use playing who's gotta the bigger junk game.

But some dudes, especially on youtube, really dont get it and never will. They like to bash and put down people even when they have nothing to back them. It makes me laugh when someone who has never built any vehicle, or have ever competed tries to bash someone by saying things like "haha, you suck cause another car I saw once in a video was better than yours."

To me, this mentality is one of the most ignorant I have ever seen.

Oh and I am not saying this towards you Robert, just going on a short Rant because of a good point you made.

I'm a noob to this stuff and I admit it. Always had the best buy stereos until this year but I understand it and have been learning how it all works. But just today in Sundownz post about doing a 152 with a 8" at 60+hz someone was like why and it's annoying to see that.

Edit: "that" refers to what the person said. Not what sundown did.

my favorite one was when i would do like a 156 or something at a USAC show and then at the end of the day they always did "port wars". Someone would always come up to me and go damn, that guy just did a 167 with 1 12 and you did ONLY a 156 with 4 18's?

I understand where you are coming from, But understand this.. Its the internet, and people can be anonymous and can say whatever they want.. and people on the internet have an opinion about EVERYTHING... regardless if they like it or not they will voice it because of the anonymity.

I hate the numbers game as well.. Mine is just a semi loud street beater.. but i throw up numbers from DBdrag style and meca style just to show who wants to know where it is..

one of my best friends burps mid 60s at 55hz, yeah i make fun of him for doing it, but thats his passion and love.. and I wont knock some one for doing what they really love doing.

Honestly... just do what I do.. tell them to offer equipment to make it streetable or give them the $ to buy the gear they want you to run or to design the system they want you to have.. or stfu..
