YUKISM
Thats a mean ass paint job look at the reflection it gives off.Thats the stuff I'm talkin' about, but here in NY you don't see stuff like that so if you go into a shop and request something similar to anything in any of those vids. you'll definitely pay out the ass and risk that the job will come out shitty. 2004 Chevy tahoe. The shop that's doing it has painted cars that have came out in several different mags. Post up a pic when it's done so I can check it.

Rell
Lately I've been thinking about getting a candy color paint job done. For some reason in my neck of the woods they like RAPING your pockets when it comes to things like this.I was wondering if anyone that has experience in car painting could shoot me a GUESStimate as to what the most is I should pay for a GOOD candy paint job.The truck is a 02' Yukon 4 dr.,current color is pewter(Beige),there are no dents or dings so no body work would be needed, and I'd be doing either a candy black, candy DARK blue,or candy DARK purple. Thanks!!! Well first there is no such thing as candy black. $6,000 - $10,000 at a legitimate shop with labor and paint IMO You pay 10k your might as well bend over and hand them the lube. If your truck dosent need much if any body work then I wouldnt pay more then 6k. Shit you could ship your truck down to florida and have it sprayed way cheaper then anyone locally most likely, theres so many damn shops down that way spraying candy its crazy. Theres more competition so prices are cheaper. But you also get what you pay for. Some people cant spray candy correctly. You might get your truck back and your paint might look like it has tiger stripes or be extra cloudy.
