BeAlLsTaR13
you want them wired in parallel, not series series is giving you 4 ohm at the amp, parallel will give you 1 ohm (i think you said their d4s?) its not the amp. BeAlLsTaR13
im bout to walk out side and start messing with it. Do you think there could be a problem with the subd might be a blown coil along the way. pop test them, wire a 9volt battery to the terminals, if the sub goes in or out on that termina that coil is fine, do it to all pairs of terminals Team Sundown Audio**CURRENT** -- 2012 Scion tC Build Click Here **OLD** -- 2002 Pontiac Grand AM Build Click Herecheck them out, slap me a comment2002 Pontiac Grand AM SE 2.2l 4 cylinder ecotec.-------------------------------------------------------------------Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9887Subs - 2x Z 12 v.2s - v.3 + NS Soft partsAmplifier - Sundown Audio SAZ-3500DEnclosure - 3.33 Cubes tuned to 34.66hzFront Stage - JBL P660c 6.5" ComponentsRear Deck - Powerbass 4xl 6.5" Mid-RangeFront Stage Amplifier - Sundown Audio SAX-100.4DWires - Kicker Hyperflex 1/0, KnuKonceptz 1/0, Knu 4 and 8 Gauge, Kicker RCAsElectrical - 275 AMP DC Power H/O Alternator, XS Power S3400, XS Power D2700Videos - http://www.youtube.com/user/BeAILsTaR13-------------------------------------------------------------------
Carroot1
im bout to walk out side and start messing with it. Do you think there could be a problem with the subd subs should be fine, just make sure that the amp is wired correctly down to 1 ohm you may have it to 8 ohms if it sounds quiet or higher, if you wired it to .5 ohms then it would be louder. Your amp is fine just set everything right and its all good take a picture of your gain setup and post it on here ill check it in the morning (gain all the way up usually is bad) lol
P4killer_
i went to today seriesed the wires at the amp. iirc you cant really do that, its a mono amp so im assuming there is 4 connectors 2+ and 2- , they are all for the same channel. its like like having 1+ and 1- except they give you an extra of each to make it easier to wire more than 1 sub for instance. So i hope your not combining pos and neg leads from ur speakers and then putting that to the amp... that dont sound good to me you have to series the woofers before the amp not at the amp, because its all one channel. it parralels the two + and - together maybe i misread but thats what it sounds like to me Setup: 2010 Hyundai Elantra Factory Unit via 4 chan NVX LOC Excessive Amperage "H/O" Alt Xs D3400/ Xs XP3000 Big 3. 2 Runs of +, 2 Runs of - DD M3b and 2 12" AQ HDC4s

Freshman6969
we really need an epic face palm smily for some posts in here, but on a serious note, if your clipping its most likly your settings on the amp, and if your clipping that bad, your subs/sub could possibly be blown ( thats a guess ) Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k! Why would you EVER WANT flex?huh?...flex is what can make the lows lower and more air being pushed correct?
