Oh yea, now the mids and high's. Cool. I like how you got them rings done. Kinda used to seeing it done in two pieces and then glued and screwed together.

So I take it that you finally got a fix on the design for the doors. Right on Steve. Definitely excited to see how you put these together.

I don't know if anybody has asked this yet or if it was already mentioned but here goes.

My question, so are you gonna do anything to the two rear passenger door's? Or are you just gonna leave them as it is? I don't know, they seem to have some kind of potential? Just asking.

Did you mean 3/16" left on the 6'' rings where the speaker mounts instead of 3/8" or am I trippin.

I guess it'd work either way but it looked more like a 3/16" "shelf" left on those rings.

I usually just cut a 3/4" ring and back it w/ a wider one of 1/4" glued to the back to mount the mid to.

Good to see a way to do it w/ out having to glue it up tho. Sneaky sneaky.

nope, the pic is decieving, its just a little thicker then 1/4" maybe on the short side of 3/8 though, somewhere in between , maybe 5/16" ....the 10" ring was way thinner and coulda been done in two pieces but i left a little bit to "shim" it and bring it up just a little.

anyway thanks! Only thing that sucks is, i just woke up and now im lookin out the window going DAMN now i gotta go do it again.......im fine once i get rollin but getting that first bit of motivation is always a task in itself.

i dont kno if this has been asked befor but are you gonna make a little box behind the 10 so the backwave from it wont affect the 6&1/2's ? and mad props on knowing how to do a active passive setup ied hate to wire it up but would love to helpout on this lol, cant wait to hear what the nabors are gunna say about the hooptys midbass , great lookin work man and good luck on the weather part, takes a real man to tough it out, lol u always keep it clean n soundin mean you need your own tv show like unique whips called smd customs or soemthin like that but it would be sweet to watch the master at work but the cams would prolly get on ur nurves n slow down progress prolly why u dont have a garage lol like to work solo so its man and machine workin as a team, lol but not to drift to far off topic, this thing is gonna be the best show truck ive ever seen and soundin at that, hell come tax time i might just buy a plane ticket down to cali just to see this artwork in person , keep up the good work mayne its gonna be a show stopper once its finished, and take ya time mayne prefection doesnt come over night

thanks man!! Ya i have given the back wave of the 10" some thought and i will try and seperate it as good as possibe...but it is midbass so it wont be "throwin" like if was a sub. I mean it is a sub, but being used in midbass situation.......anyway ill have to give it some thought. Good eye!
