I would put my guess down as a bandpass. Even if it wasn't deliberately built like one. Alot of people run around with bandpasses in disguse without knowing it

technically it can be called a 6th order.....but it really is just two ported boxes facing eachother. The middle chamber is wide open. If i was doing a 6th order it would be tuned properly and the subs wouldnt run all the way to the edge of the opening like that.

It also "plots" much better as a ported box so ill stick with that

Ok, nothing new posted on the Hoopty, so time is ripe for me to ask a question about it..........

So I recently discovered Jeezy's Hypnotize and finally realized that Steve has been demo-ing the Hoopty with it in several videos. Hey, I could only hear the bass and no lyrics or anything!

Is it just me, or (just by watching the vids Steve has posted) is that about the loudest song (so far) for the Hoopty in terms of tuning frequency? That song seems to be pretty violent when it gets going in the vids. What makes it so great for the Hoopty?

Hypnotize is great I find because it covers a wide range of bass frequencies. The highs that vibrate your skull and the lows that suck the air from your lungs. Awesome!
