Guna have my dad (an ex-carpenter) help me out and gimme some pointers so i dont fuck myself up haha. Anyway I know I need a 1/4 shank spiral up or down cut bit. But what cutting diameter, Flute length, And overall length bit should I look for? I heard get carbide bits aswell, Any brands to stay away from/ brands that I should look into? EricR
btw, I have the same router and jasper and it does work well....freud bits are always nice..and carbide is what you want. Yea Freud bits are the best to buy. You get what you pay for i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? bumonskateboard6
Does the Jasper Jig need a plunge base to work? It looked like in Steve's video he was using it without one... Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth. A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?
