Why do you continue car audio?

Recommended Posts

This is seriously one of the best threads i have seen.

I love the comments about how our hobby isn't a hobby, it's a lifestyle. I know that with what everyone has said, i can't disagree with it at all. It's awesome that i can hear people who are as enthusisatic about car audio instead of hearing stuff such as, "that is a waste of money" "It's just all going to get stolen" "why can't you do something productive"

Thank you for this thread, thank you for everyone who has posted in it.

Seriously, Car Audio is not a Hobby, it's a Lifestyle.

I agree :) and im not allowed to work on this lifestyle for a while yet and it's killing me!

When people ask i dont even TRY to answer. They're not going to understand, so why waste the time? It doesnt matter how you tell me, I will never agree with a penis in my ass...so why try to convince me?

We all like what we like, not always going to an answer for it.

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

Because I love music, first and foremost, and building a system that lets me enjoy that gives me as much of a sense of accomplishment as seeing it actually built and playing when during the planning stage it seemed like nothing more than a dream. Going through the planning stage, acquiring the product, putting in the blood, sweat and tears to do the build/install, makes it all worth it when you get to hear and see it doing it's thing.

To me there is no feeling like taking a cruise in your ride and bumping your system that you installed yourself with your own blood, sweat and sometimes tears, haha. I love the feeling of the bass down my spine and even though it is giving me a headache after awhile, refusing to turn it down.I love the reactions from people on the streets or in the car next to me, whether it be a look of disgust or a look of admiration. Car audio is definitely a lifestyle. You just "get it" or you dont. Most people dont. And thats fine with me too. I love this lifestyle and will continue to support it probably till the day I die. I just know once you have a bangin ass system, there is no going back to stock, and I never will.
