Had an estimate of 6400 for an alpine/clarion setup dealer said it "should" hit around 160db with the custom boxes he was going to make for me..doubtful with so much area to move but, budget is way below that :( any ideas on cheaper brands for that kind of Spl setup? really didnt want to try any Boss or soundstorm, thinking Quantum figure around $150 per speaker "$1800 total" and $1700 to power it, first actual big setup for the van.

Well anyone whos missed out. shoot me a message and I will get you taken care of.

I need to know what battery would be good for under my hood, I have a 1982 chevy caprice with the small block 400 under the hood. Im going to be running a AP 3k and a DC lvl 4 18" so Im also needing to know what batteries to run in the back to power my amps, Im new to XS but have heard GREAT things and I want to run them but I dont know what batteries I need. Im not planning on getting in on the group buy I wont have the cash till the end of January but I need to know how much I need to save up by then! Thanks for your time

Im pretty sure I wont be able to order by the end of group buy buy I still want to run XS batteries. I have a 1982 chevy caprice with the small block 400 in it. I am going to be running one AP3k amp and 1 DC lvl4 18" to start with for my build after the 1st of the year, my question is waht battery would be good for up front? I was thinking 2 D1200s would be ok on my amp to start but I had no clue about what battery for my front id need. Thanks for your help and either way I will be ordering from you soon :),

D3400 should fit in the stock location. If you are running side posts, then you will need the 551 or 555 iBar kit. If you are just running regular automotive top posts, then a set of the 580s is all you need.

i just got my money for the batts today.

is there anyway i could still get in on this?

Just got my pair of D3100s, UPS apparently employs monkeys who throw everything, crushed and cracked corner of the battery, and no Styrofoam in one box, half the Styrofoam missing in the other, WTF?!

what happens when ups messes up the batteries do they pay for new ones
