iKidwell Posted November 21, 2010 Report Share Posted November 21, 2010 I've had a sundown amp before, and i loved it, but as for me not having an unlimited budget, i had to downgrade my amp when i came up with a couple of tickets, so i'm down to hifonics now, but once i get all my money and cash back up to where it should be i'd love to run some more sundown, everything about it is great, and they have great customer service, but i've never heard anything bad about aq either, they'd be the 2nd on my list behind sundown..and they're a lot cheaper. c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They put out quite a bit more then 4300 for 750 bucks shipped to your door, come on where you gonna find a better deal then that? Unless you just love sundown and have to have their product, audio que is the better move here. JMO.... sundownz Posted November 24, 2010 Report Share Posted November 24, 2010 This may or may not matter to many folks but we have a 2-year warranty vs. 1-year http://www.audioque.com/aq/?page_id=66 "TWO YEAR WARRANTY COVERAGE ON SUBWOOFERS (one year warranty on amplifiers) (COVERS ONLY THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND IS NOT TRANSFERABLE)" Ours is also transferrable... and you get 5-year discounted replacement plan. I need to put up a bigger FAQ on that... but essentially for 5-years your Sundown amp is worth some credit with us. You can send it in well beyond the 2-year warranty and receive credit towards a new amp.
