Flowtester92
Just last week I started my car in sub zero conditions and my subs worked fine. However this morning when started they work only quieter. I have to have them turned up all the way to get the same performance I normally get at a fourth of the power. I had let my car warm up a half hour prior to playing music. So my question is, can sub zero temperatures inhibit my subs performance or is there another possible problem I'm unaware of? nCOMP1337
all i know is iv e played my subs in sub zero temp and they worked fine, not sure whether its okay for the subs or not, but ive played them while they and the amp were frosted over, didnt seem to affect performance, but could affect lifespan of sub, not sure
SnowDrifter
Weird... Did a cap on your amp freeze and explode? Or anything else for that matter? AMI CUSTOMS
Colder is better for conductive properties of metal, if you get cold enough, it become a super conductor. But that is something completely different then car audio electronics...LOL Quote TEAM SOUNDQUBED -- TEAM SOUTH TEAM S.O.B. - Founder & Captain 3x Streetbeat World Record Holder 2017 MWSPL 1st place Mayhem & 4th Xtreme 4 2016 MWSPL 1st place Mayhem/2nd Adv 4/2nd Xtreme 4 2015 MWSPL 2nd place Mayhem & 4th Xtreme 4 2014 USACI 2nd place Streetbeat 5 - 162.6 db 2014 MWSPL 2nd place Xtreme 4 - 144.9 db 2013 USACI 1st place Streetbeat 4 - 161.9 db 2013 USACI 1st place Street Q+ - 162.8 db 2013 MWSPL 3rd Kaos2 & 4th Xtreme 4 2011 USACI 2nd place MOD 1001-2k - 160.0 db 2011 MWSPL 4th place: Adv3 - 157.8 db, Kaos2 - 150s db, Xtreme4 - 140s db 2010 ARSPL 1st place 501-750 - 160.3 db Arkansas loudest Best score to date 164.4 db - Termlab Outlaw Streetbeat 4 - 161.9 db Streetbeat 5 - 162.6 db MWSPL on Dash Legal door open (Music) - 162.5 db Sealed on dash Legal (Music) - 161.1 db - Termlab THE BLACK NASTY CURRENT BUILD & FAB The Black Nasty (6) 15 Rebuild Log 2012 (4) 15 Walled Sierra Build Log Evo X build log Facebook page The Black Nasty

LT.Smoke
I would just let your subs get some time in the morning to get warmed up at a moderate volume then once they loosen back up have fun lol Quote Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌
