The main benefit would be that much extra net volume inside the enclosure. ive got lower bass notes from a box with inverted subs Could be from the extra net volume inside the enclosure which would drop the tuning a little. The only difference is you'd have to change the phase to 180 and you'd gain a little more area inside the enclosure. you only need to change phase if you have some mounted normal and some inverted using the same airspace saved me some typing brotha!
