Recommended Posts

My first one was with two L7 15's on 2500 watts. And it was a 150.0 then I did the walled out sierra and did a 160.3 at my first show with it, it was a whole new world....LOL

Two L7 15's doing a 150? Damn! Was that in a trunk? or Suv?

extended cab truck, and thanks!!!!

Thats crazy bro what was the box tuned at? And I assume it was walled? Nice!

No below the window line actually, just had the rear seat removed, it was something like 10 cubes tuned to 60 hz and peaked at like 59 hz, it was something crazy I tried, best it did was a 151.1 actually....LOL

Tuned to 60 hz? Haha damnnnn. So in smaller cabs(like a truck) i'm assuming its better to tune higher? and in bigger cabs (Like an SUV) its better to tune lower?

To give a straight answer to this, well, there really is to many factors to consider, BUT generally smaller cabin area means higher peak freq. But not always true!!!

3 W7's with an RF power 1000 to each in a ranger. blow through. 4 pair of focal components with 200w rms to each mid, 50w rms to each tweeter. pulled a 158 on the dash. couldn't hear for a day, almost vomited, thought I had internal bleeding it hurt so bad. also thought I had crapped myself.
