In all honesty dying is part of the risk of drug use, not everyone who uses them die but there's always a chance. Anything we do has a risk factor, driving to work you can get hit, eating food you can choke or listening to music too loud and you can go def. While its a sad situation you can't just look at it and say it wasn't fair because she was addicted to the drugs, she chose her path and those are the consequences of it.

On a serious note though, blaming a drug addict for things they do is no different than blaming a diabetic for the things they have to do and go through. In both cases it's a sickness and in both cases it's one that can be brought on by bad choices the person has made and in both cases death is a likely outcome.

Dude, you are a FUCKING RETARD. You make up an excuse to everything, and as to why you, or someone else, can't help it. A sickness is a cold, a stomach virus, HIV, pink eye. Things that can not be changed, and can not be helped. When have you ever known someone to have diabetes and say, hey, I don't want to be this way anymore, and just stop the diabetes? Never...addiction in a mental incapacity. You believe you are dependant on it, and your mind tells you so. If you are a strong willed person, you can stop this. I smoke, but it is not a sickness. When I have to, I can go days, weeks, without smoking...alot of people can't do this. And I am not trying to get on a high horse here, just an example. Many people a year decide to stop doing drugs/alcohol cold turkey. Its all about the willpower. And when someone really like drugs, and has a mother to bail them out of trouble, and a support group full of people like you who tell her, "oh, its not your fault you're addicted, its a sickness that you can't help" they will never quit. Its people like you, and fucked up legal systems who are to blame for the horrific outcomes like this. Yes, the individual is to blame for the totality of it all, but people like you are the reason they never have the motivation to quit what they are doing.

Benji thanks for the props but they are undeserving(sp) while I haven't snorted a fat rail in a long time, unfortunately im not sober, at times I wish I was 100% clean, and I have gone sometime clean, I can't stay that way very well ( no I jus smoke a lil herb and pop a delotta every now and again. I agree completely though, no addict wants to be an addict, you start off doing things to experiment and for fun then if you really like it you do it more and more and eventually you can't stop...I've been there with a few drugs myself
