So I'm thinking about buying a bike this year

If you ever decide too go balls to the wall I can get you this CBR1000 for $12k. It's the ONLY turbocharged new cbr in the world and it uses all factory uncut plastics. Extended swingarm, custom wheels, aem wideband, extended 8" etc. Oh and it only has 290 miles on it

The turbo CBR is badd ass. But someone cut corners using roaring toyz extention links, instead of a solid new swingarm. I wouldnt trust my ass with with that kinda power.

it wasn't so much cutting corners, it was seeing how little stretch the bike needed to not have the front wheel come up. the extenders are much cheaper then buying an 8" swingarm and finding out the wheel still comes up

edit: by looking at the rest of the bike, does it look like the owner cuts corners? how often do you see an aem wideband and digital boost gauge on bikes? and how often do you see someone tear a bike down piece by piece to build it in their basement when the bike is a month old and has less then 20 miles on it?

What's the problem with honda? :)

Thinking is the root of all problems...

You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

as opposed to a junk R1? He was after being the first to ever turbo something and The gsxr has been done countless times. It would have been a better choice if the bike were staying stock but that was far from the case as you can see.

a hayabusa would be a better starter bike than an R1 or gsxr 1000, do I need to post vids of people that thought they could handle the 1k first shot?

I have been arguing peoples mind sets for years. Deciding to start with a 600 instead of getting the bike they want because they feel the will "Hurt" themself with the bigger bike, is the wrong reason. People with that kind of thinking have no business around a bike let alone own one. If your not responsable enough or "smart" enough to own one. I will tell anyone wanting to buy a bike, and its the same thing I told my wife when she wanted one, get what u want. If you want a 600 fine, get it. But the idea to buy one and sell it 6months later and get a 1000 is stupid. Needless to say SHE ended up with a R1. Dont be a pussy get what you want. Respect the bike and you will be fine. Wrecking at 160 or 180mph, no difference. It will end the same way.

End of Rant.......
