Mikesmith0890
The iPhone is a good phone, don't get me wrong. But currently it can do nowhere near what the Android OS can. If you're gonna mention jailbreaking the iPhone, you might as well mention 'Rooting' the droid phones. Which opens up a whole other world of what the Android phones are truly capable of. You can basically manipulate them anyway you want. But keep your eyes open for some coming Android phones to Verizon. Dual 1ghz processor and nvidia graphics anyone? AI James
Jailbreaking isn't hard, so that shouldn't stop you from getting an iPhone. You can do way more with a jailbroken iPhone than you can with a Droid phone. I've played with a friend's HTC Hero, and I have to admit, the Droid OS does look pretty fun, but I love my iPhone 4 way better. If you aren't going to jailbreak, the iPhone is still a good phone, but it has so much more potential. Jailbreaking is what makes it a beast. One of my favorite perks of my jailbroken phone is that I now have NES and Gameboy Color emus. Super Mario Brothers on the iPhone, anyone? an HTC hero is a Junk phone that only Officially supported android 1.6 ( old as fuck) everything you just said as a perk for an iphone i can do on my droid x just fine
Ford302Redneck
whats routing and jail breaking? I'm thinking the same thing. Would somebody explain?
AI James
Rooting unlocks your phone form some defaulkt things that the carrier trys to keep you from doing. Jailbreaking unlocks an iphone to run unsigned software that apple does not allow or to customise things apple does not allow you to
