so can any1 help me out on this. i have been looking all over the internet on how to actually design a sub box using the t/s perms. from a subwoofer. i have a 15'' l7 and they say 4.5cubes with 40'' of port area is ideal, but what math goes into figuring out the dimensions of the box? how do you figure out how to make a box for a specific subwoofer...please pm me if youre willing to help. thanks.

Its not rocket science. Download winisd it a free windows based box design program. If you want a simple formula for ported boxes just do 12 sq in of port for every cubic foot 24 inches long it will tune you right between 32 and 34 Hz every time
