The official guns and stuff shoot the breeze thread

Recommended Posts

Shoot the only thing my Walther p38 will cycle with no issue are my loads. +p spec and an undersized resizing die, never had a jam, failure to chamber, stovepipe, etc with this method.

I've bought 3 of those harbor freight grinder stands in the last month to mount some extra presses I had. This latest one got a Lee .50BMG kit press mounted to it. I'm gonna use it as a resizing station for my rifle and extra long pistol brass. Added this lock n load kit to it and swapping dies should be a breeze!

Oh and another thing. You don't really save money I've found. I just shoot more for the same money.

isnt that the point? i want to shoot more, seems like youre getting more for your money

my guns didnt do too well on reloads from a range. the guns they had did good but mine jammed so that means they need well done or i need to mess with the recoil spring.. maybe get a lighter one

Or buy a glock.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

it was the cheap reloads they use at the range to keep cost down.. i have shot many reloads through my ruger.. about 800 reloads and no jams.. the gun had almost no recoil when it got a shot out and the aim was way off

It's really not that hard. Once you set up your dies you just go and check periodically. Initial cost can be a bit much depending on your press but buy once cry once.

The rail is getting ditched and I'll throw on a 13 inch free float so it'll look operator.
