football scholarship for me need advise!!!!!!!

I played college ball on scholarship. They have dorms at college for married scholarship athletes to share. That was at my jenky as college in Iowa. Back in 99'

I just can't imagine a college saying if you want to play ball for us, you can't live with your wife, fiancée, GF, BF or whatever for a semester. Worst case senario, she would live in a different dorm and just like every college student ever, she could spend the night anyway.

she will not be goin to the same college she is a register vetrinarian technican so no more school for her. and if you now football they think anythings a distraction wife fiancee gf anything thats not football related

thanks for the great advise guys seriously!!! i just had the talk with the future wife sum tears came but we decided we both can deal with 4months out of are hole life and its all worth it a free education my degree and a shot to go to league thats what its about. also all about money like some of you posted and mostly a dream since i was a kid and ever seen working my ass of blood sweat tears being sore for this i cant pass it up o and new mexico state fresno state parical scholly eastern michgen, san diego state and d2 the only good one im considering is mars hill university in north carolina

Since you already made your decision, the RIGHT DECISION, I won't comment on that anymore. But since you committed to follow just about every kids dream of playing football and you said you didn't want to leave your lady "back in Cali" then why not pick one our schools, like Fresno. You said you already have NFL scouts interested, Ryan Mathews just left Fresno for the pros so scouts are still floating around there, that's like a win win situation since you'll still have her close, go to a good school with a good team, and have some open doors to the NFL.

And I don't think anyone has told you this, but CONGRATULATIONS!!

Well find her a place close to campus to live in for now till your probation period is up if it can be afforded since it is only a temp situation.

i dont got a penny to my name their would be first last and deposit thats about 2gs then bills another 200 then she would need bed etc.... about 8-9 gs for 4 month i only have about 2 but she just goin stay home for the 4 months going be hard but thats what it gotta be it sounds much easier then done like most things

alrite guys some of you that now me know i play football and im geting a scholarship NATION SIGNING DAY is 2morrow and i need some advise. ok well i have 4 offers to play d1 and a bunch of d2 schools. well i have a fiance now i just proposed to her 2months ago. and the rules are i have to live on campus for a semester so that means i cant take my fiance with me for 4 months and i DO NOT want leave her back here in cali i dont want to leave here period i made a committ to her.. idk what to do i have 16hours to find out what im going to do and i was promised she would leave with me when i leave now there telling me its a rule and she cant come tell after that period. i havent talk to her about it yet but im sure she will be heart broken and me to to leave my baby gurl any advise would be appriated!! note i would feel like a bitch to leave her and the pressures on me to not take any scholarships and i only have 16hours from now to choose

My advice would be to skip the football part and focus on the school part cause you can't spell for shit!

His spelling and grammar didn't bother me until he said he wanted to be a teacher. In most states I believe there is a written part of the process to become a teacher (either while taking your test for the license, during the application process for a school, or both) and anyone who writes like this WITH a spell check, will never make it past that point.

All that aside, OP seems you made a good choice. This can bring the two of you closer together in the long run and make both of you happier in the long run.

i know im late to the party but after reading your original post first i want to say congratulations on the engagement bro...Secondly you have to think about how many times an oppurtunity like this comes around?? If she is truly the girl for you then she will stand behind you and support you in your decision and will be there waiting with open arms when you 2 can be reunited after your time away at school so best of luck to you
