  2. My friend Jeff, recently stopped by with a little hidden gem he had in his garage collecting dust. I am a sucker for anything Soundstream from the early 90's, particularly while they were still made in Folsom, CA (local). The "Granite" series was Soundstreams "budget" amps. If you couldn't afford the Pro stuff (like the SS series speakers or Reference amps), you could still get the name and damn good quality still by going with the Granite line. I call this Granite 60.2 "Classic-ish" because it isn't quite the older stuff that i prefer, but it is still at least 20 years old. So it's sorta classic still Anyhow, check out the amp guts below - 60.2? Ill test it on my SMD AD-1 soon! I think it still works. (didn't fire it up yet, been busy).

  8. This is an old thread but, since this is my first post I might as well post in the introductions thread . I am currently rediscovering car audio. I have much to learn . I discovered Steve and this forum while researching my current component lineup. I am intrested in building a very loud, very clear and, sonicly accurate system . I've got a good start going . As soon as I find the appropriate thread , I'll list my current gear and , seek direction regarding the best next step . Thanks , Chris

  9. guys, i have found its MUCH easier and faster to hit the delete button instead of moving your posts around. This is the off topic area. We have a video section for video's. We have an OFF TOPIC video section for non car audio video's. We have amplifier and subwoofer sections. Why do people continue to put stuff here that has a place somewhere else? I am getting tired of moving them for you, it is just easier to hit the delete button. if you are looking for your post and it doesnt exist anymore, that is probably where it is at. Please try to find the proper section for your post if you plan on keeping it. Thanks!
